OK...some more wild sex!!! they certainly take a lot longer than the grebes do.

Wouldn't this make a great cover shot for Slug Monthly

Nature is so much fun to watch and enjoy. Went to the pond this morning where the Grebes are and the play was inundated with about 100 fisherman......so went looking for something to take some pics of. Hope you like the slugs.

C&C greatly appreciated.

Bill, this is great. I love the way your composition balances the spirals of the shells. My only wish would be for a bit more dof. :toast:

Awesome Bill, I really like the compostion and the colors.

Out of curiosity, what was your shooting data? I'll flag the photo and come back later to check it out.

Thanks,

Carol

HI Bill,

Excellent!!! Super colors and details. Is this full frame, as my only minor nit would be to have a little more room around the snails. Other than that, it's definetly a rare find to see snails indulged in bedroom activities.

Exactly what ARE they doing, anyway. I look at the shells and only see the number "69".

The snails are an introduced European species, the Grove Snail, Cepaea nemoralis
For the further titillation of the voyeurs, land snails are hermaphtodites, so . . .
