Two tips, one sunbeam

The beautiful white calla is always helpful and in elegant poses.

At sunset, hit by a small gentle sunbeam.

What do you feel? Have you suggestions?

Gigi...very nice and different view of a calla...I like it. Only thing that I find slightly distracting the yellow tip on the leaf...my eye gets drawn away from the amzing flowers.

Terrific perspective! I know it's part of the leaf, but the little yellow part of the leaf tip is a bit distracting to me. I wonder if you could crop it or tone the color down?

Very pretty and a great presentation with this calla. I'll disagree with some to say I like the yellow tip. For me, it seems to add something to an already very nice image.

Wow. Ethereal would be my first reaction, mysterious woul dbe my second. Very artistic, almost cubist in its representation. Nicely seen and captured. :toast:

Gigi, Beautiful light and comp! I love the effect created by the sunbeam.

I generally like a floral subject to be anchored, not floating in the frame. I see just an ever so slight amount of detail below the calla on my laptop (there may be more I can't see) but I'm wondering if you could pull just a tiny bit more detail out of the shadows to anchor the lilly?

Either way, wonderful concept and exectuion! :wavey:

this is not only the best image I have seen on the flora gallery so far (I'm not saying I 've seen all there) and also (maybe) the best shot I have ever seen from a calla lily. Superb!

Hi Gigi,

An unusual perspective. Beautiful light.

Unfortunately the tip of the Calla lily draws my eye away from the composition.

Thanks for sharing.
