Shooting through thick fog didn't make things any easier, but it certainly added to the atmosphere. I loved watching these little fellows watching their own hands and arms.

This is certainly different Jasper and I like it a lot, a bit mysterious and the hand is eye catching. :toast:

Great shot. The hand first caught my eye and then it took me a couple of seconds to figure out the scene. I like this alot.

Great shot Jasper... it certainly is a striking animal portrait in a "non-conformist" kind off way. Love the mist... which adds the mystery to the shot.

What a great mysterious mood the fog adds to an already superb shot. Congrats on the EP Jasper. Well deserved.

I've seen a few of these shots before but this one is quite glorious. It reminds me of the hand grasping for excalibur (arthurs sword) through the mist.

Pure class Jasper.

technical question - why would you risk shooting handheld at iso 200 and 1/160th? Why didn't you sacrifice your ISO to 400? Maybe you're ultra-steady which I'm sure is the case  Just interested

Great shot :toast:

What a magnificent picture!!!!!!!!
The style of image I absolutely love. So different, so difficult to get since they require the combination of having the talent and the "eye", as well as timing, luck and patience.
The ONE image that make the entire trip worth it.
Congratulations.
