I'm a big fan of photos with roads or trails leading into the image. This is certainly no exception. I like the stark quality of light and the contrast of light snow to dark trees. Very interesting.

Great one Dave. I think that with some of the other shots that you have posted you could have a great series here. The curve of the road is great, the angle of view is well done, love the trees, and the exposure is right on.

This really captures the feeling of the heavy wet snow we got. Seeing this makes me wish I had called in sick that day and hit the woods with my camera.

The contrast in this is wonderful! Your exposure is perfect and just the right amount of lighting through-out your image. I love walking down roads like this after a storm.

Looks like this was quite a last gasp Dave! Omaha sure got it's share this year huh? I like this image, especially the strong contrast between the dark of the tree and the light of the snow. Nice how the curve of the road leads to ???.

Very nice, but I find a bit distracting the fact that the trees are tilt to the right while the road curves to the left. For me is a visual conflict that breaks somehow the harmony of the picture.

What a wonderful capture of this quiet and calm snow scene, I like the combination of the dark wood with the white snow. Perfect atmosphere of the snow in the wood...

Beautiful tire tracks leading me right into the woods.

I spect it's not Winter's Last Gasp, but I really like that thought.
