Hi All!
I thought I'd post a very recent photo of me. It was taken in Columbia a few days ago. Aside from photography and the mountains, my music is me.
I would like to add a note about my town of Columbia. It is a state historic park in California's Mother Lode, consisting of restored Gold Rush era buildings. The buildings are brick with wood floors and flat roofs. The iron doors were originally installed for fire protection. The doors were not closed to keep fire 'out' but to keep a fire 'in'; to prevent spread to other structures! Columbia experienced two major fires the late 1800's. It was after the second fire that the doors were installed.
The streets are blocked to vehicle traffic, so it is an ideal place to walk around, see the old buildings (which now house various shops), or listen to itinerant old guitar pickers. ![]()
Be well, everyone, ![]()
