This is my first post in this Forum. It took me a while to determine where to post some underwater photos. This is was taken in the Grand Caymans.
This is full frame scanned slide using Nikonos V and 15mm.

I LIKE this one, Gary!! Normally I might want not so much black..but I think in this case with the silhouette of the angelfish this works perfectly to give the feeling of the deep, dark sea... WELL DONE!!

Thanks Michael, I actually was after the Silhouette look when taking this and overexposed to try and get the background black. It wasn't quite perfect so I adjusted the curves until it was like I wanted.
Cindy it wasn't quite that dark down there and as you can see in my reply to Michael that the overexposure was key in getting what I had envisioned in my mind. I do have some more that I will post when my 48 hours are up. I always present my wildlife accurately, however with some of my underwater shots I take some extra liberties on composition and will note them when I do.

Wow!
I like how you work with negative space there. If anything I would of center the subject a tiny bit more.
I am trying to use negative space too but not as successfully, as I don't get praise than you do
