I just spent a few days in the rockies of Alberta photographing bears with limited success. I came home the long way and passed through the spectacular area around the Columbia Icefields where I found this young ram looking across the valley as a rainshower past by.

Duane, this is spectacular! The mood is perfect and the waterfall tops it off nicely. Well done. :toast:

Beautiful shot.

If anything...

I would say slightly tighter crop, to reduce the amount of foreground rocks (dead space), as well as snow (less bothersome to me).

Come to thino of it, you can only crop a minimal amount on the left, none on the right. Gotta change the frame format to achieve what i mention.

What a capture. Showing the scenery adds to the story value of the image. Well spotted and excecuted.

Stunning shot, Duane. Maybe a bit of a crop on the left to remove the partial tree foliage.
