My name is Sarah Myers and I am 15 yrs. old. I have three sisters one brother and we travel full time as my dad is in the ministry. We discovered NPN some time back and have been hooked ever since. I have a real interest in photography and since I’m just learning on my own, I’m really hoping to get some helps along the way from you all. Thank you in advance for any input that you are willing to share. :wavey:

Welcome to NPN Sarah! Great to meet you. I was impressed with your violin photo, and had no idea you were just 15! I wish I had started into photography at that age. It looks like the have the talent for it! What ministry is your dad in? :wavey:

Hi there Sarah,

A full time traveller huh? I can imagine all the interesting things you must see. Great for someone who likes photography for sure. I too was impressed with the violin shot and how much attention you paid in the arrangement of the elements. NPN is a great place to learn and I'm always glad to see young people using it. Hope to see more of your images. :wavey:

Thank you for your interest in my photo. I have really enjoyed looking through your portfolio. They are great photos; they are truly works of art!! You asked what ministry my dad is in. He is in the ministry of evangelism and we have the opportunity to sing and play our instruments during the weeks of Revival meetings that He preaches. We have been traveling in this ministry since 1999, and really enjoy it. Keep up the great work, I know it has been an inspiration to me.

I dearly wish I had a camera on a tripod pointed at a flower when I was 15! Photography is a great way to enjoy the world and to slow down and appreciate nature. I have said it before, and I'll say it again, it is truly amazing the NPN remains such a civil place. We occasionally complain about the lack of comments on photographs, but when taken as a whole, there are hundreds of bits of knowledge scattered around the forums.
