.....Very well camouflaged and concealed - I did not know that the Hopper was there until I processed the image, I was busy worrying about the water drops. Sooooo I'll bet if you ask that hopper it would tell you that I was the intruder.......and I'll bet it just loved that big round gold thing shinning light on it.
Taken at first light. 20D Sigma 100-300, @f/9, ISO 100, MLU, cable release, tripod & gold relfelctor

Thanks Michael and Jeff. I forgot to mention that every once in awhile I really enjoy shooting grasses and I was especially interested on this morning because of the heavy dew.

Sharp as a tack. Diagonal Compo, Water drops, Background and of course that guy hiding in there all make this a A++ category shot.

Extremely well done, Barb :toast: :toast: :toast:

How beautiful and different. Love the detail and the earth tones to this. The grass hopper is definitely an A+ bonus! Barbara, It's different than I normally see from you but I really like it.

Wow Barb, great angle to the flower, and great angle on the 'dangly things'. The water drops are great. I have done that exact same thing before, spotted the insect during processing.

Barb -

I have never seen grass portrayed as beautifully as this. And the bug ( a true, sucking insect) is a great touch. Kind of a Where's Waldo effect. Nice job.

Love the warm look to this Barb, and you definitely nailed the water beads. Your friend came out pretty nice to. Great job.

Barb, what a beautifully captured image. The detail and color is so nice not to mention the bg and the 'critter'. Outstanding.

Very very cool, Barb. The droplets are beautiful. What a keen surprise to find the Hopper after you shot the photo. Boy, that speaks volumes in praise of camoflage! :jump: Just a fantastic image in every way! :toast:

Barb,

Congratulations on the EP.

A beautiful image--colors, composition, DoF, the whole nine yards.

Very nice.
