Two rowing boats by the lake Mylla. Found in the vast eastern Norwegian woodlands. July 2007. After this years massive summer floods. We had the largest amount of rain here in eastern Norway in 50-60 years.

Double exposure. Put the darkest layer on multiply. 60% opacity. Selective dodge/burn.

Canon EOS 400D DIGITAL
Tokina AT-X DX 12-24 f/4
Cokin Z-Pro Z121S ND8.

Anders,

Great effect and mood maker with the B&W treatment. I love the layer of mist in the background which is a great addition. Looks like you need to get out the bilge pump for the boat on the right! :toast:

Captivating image, Anders. Well seen and flawlessly captured.

My only nit is the buoy behind the right-hand boat. I think the image would be stronger if it weren't there. But that's just my opinion. I wouldn't mind having this in my portfolio as it is.

This is a very striking composition. It has a surreal feel to it that I like. The b&w treatment was perfect and added to it's mood, I think.

Stunning. The clouds in the foreground reflections are mesmerizing. The BW conversion couldn't be better.

WOW...Amazing image! The B&W conversion is perfect.
Not determined in remove the buoy because it adds depth to the image but in other way I would like to see a version without her. And I would try to remove better the grad line on top of the trees and mountain. One more time the image is AMAZING

Congratulations Anders! The composition is just perfect--again, the reflected clouds are incredible. The processing is great for the most part--grad line doesn't bother me much. :toast:
