This is probably my favourite amongst the fairy-wrens. Its jewell-like appearance within its usually drab grey/brown habitat probably helps.
I had a about six family groups within about 200 metres of my tent

Canon1D2N 500/f4 with 1.4 at -2/3

Sorry forgot to mention in the intro:
cloned a twig that was 'emerging' from the top of its head and cropped from horizontal to vertical largely to get rid of lots of tangled branches in front of the bird
