Just to joint in, taken last Tuesday morning at the end of the rut. An early start for both of us and this stag was well 'done-in', just as well the ruts virtually over.

250ASA/1500'/F4
Normal PS/FF at a slight angle to the rising sun.

Strong image. I like the almost duotone colours and of course the pose of the stag and its breath being visible. Can almost hear the burling!

Well, he may be "done-in" but he's still singing his tune! Beautiful shot; creates a nice mood. Love the silhouette and rim light and all the gold color. Seeing his breath like that is so cool. Well done! Congrats.
