I got photograph of this couple of cows last week while driving around to look for subjects. At first I found it a couple of rather intersting animals...with the colordifference...but later I found this reflection which made it even more interesting. I was lying near the edge of the water with the cows at 1,5 meter distance...quite scary :D

Jasper,
The color contrasts in this shot are wonderful! The two cows really stand out, and the reflection is a bonus for your eyes. NICE!

Jasper - great shot, and somehow it feels so familiar...

I like the composition, and especially the dark sky that makes the animals really pop. Well done.

Ooh, that black one is really showing off! Great work. Photographing cows can be very nice and their natural talent for modelling (not shared by all cows I should add) gives one a good chance of making an original photo. You prove that very well here. The layers in the photo are great, the reflection adds a lot, the poses are priceless and the sky is the 'icing on the cake'.

Hou ze komen ;)

Jasper,

This is the coolest cow portrait I have ever seen I think! The light is so perfect...just very visually appealing and out of the ordinary for farm animals. Did you take any horizontals? Bet those would be cool too.

Jasper:

Cows are fairly common-place for me; but it never ceases to amaze me how much I like them in photos. This one is really nice. Well done.

This isn't really Holland, I saw this same scene in Texas last weekend only they were 4.5 ft. away!

Wow, excellent reflection here.  Love the lighting and the beautiful clean cows both posing nicely for the camera.
