Not an original location to shoot, but here's my personal take on it.

I like your take on it, Rick. I think it's a little wider perspective than I'm used to seeing. :toast:

Rick, Of course I've seen versions of this, but yours is among the best! I really like how you've included the darker areas at the top and sides to help frame up and add perspective. This is great!

Cool image, Rick. Is this place easy to get to? You mentioned that you guys were in and out of there in a hurry.

Thanks for the comments. I saw the shot from the book, but didn't shoot that comp. I had never seen any shots with the rubble at the bottom, and personally liked the whole scene better.
I think the hike was 3 miles round trip. It was not too bad to get to. There's a decent trail, then cairns through a dry riverbed, then a short scramble up a cliffside. We did this ruin in one hour and 5 minutes...but who's counting  . Got the blood going before our 18 hour trip home though!

I've seen many images from here Rick but, BY FAR, this is the most beautiful rendering yet! This has the look and feel of entering a great cathedral. Absolutely stunning! Congrats on the very well deserved EP!
