Limited Focus on Tulip

Gallery: FloraPosted December 6, 20071,956 views28 comments

I reckon there is a repost theme in operation now. Posting a Tulip shot with very limited areas in focus. The background is Tulips as well, though out of focus.

Nikon D200, 200mm Micronikkor, f/9, 1/40 Sec, ISO200 and Tripod. Manual Exposure and Spot metering.

I have not been in the midst of action for sometime now. I went through a bout of Arthritic pain in my knees and could not shoot anything new since the time, I stopped posting.

Ram: So nice to see you back here! I had been thinking for the last few days that I needed to send you an email to see where you were, and if you were doing alright!

I love this shot, and I am glad that you posted it again. This shot is wonderful.

Ram -

From an ex-linebacker, I am truly sympathetic about your knees. As to the image, it is fantastic, and the curve against the similar colored background is trememndous.

Photographer and nature made an association for creating some of the most sweet, delicate, original color hues. The photographer has been very clever reducing to the minimum the lines of the subject for not disturbing the harmony of the colors. Beautiful Ram!
Take care.
