Pheasant feathers

I came across this pile of pheasant feathers next to the road recently. I am assuming that a hunter cleaned his birds at the side of the road before heading home. When processing the RAW in DPP, I clicked on the "linear" button under contrast, and these amazing colors appeared. I applied a simple version of the Orton technique to soften the feathers. Comments/critiques welcome. Thanks for looking.

Thanks everybody. Photoart isn't my normal style, but I'm not opposed to trying it :).
