C&C highly appreciated, thanks for your time.

I really like it Paolo, I think this is a great photo! The empty chair with the frost on it and the two sticks for the fishing poles combined with the beautiful background really tell a story. :toast:

Not so sure about "too cold for fishing." Where I live, the lakes freeze so hard there is 2 feet (half a meter?) of ice on them. We drive our trucks out on the lakes, drill holes, and fish through the holes!

One thing I am sure about is the chair is the detail that totally makes the photo. It adds a tremendous emotional appeal and human connection that would not be there other wise. The light is very good, but it is the chair that makes this so good.

Thank you all for commenting, I higly appreciate that.

Kent, it all depends on what you're used to... I know in SD it's pretty much colder than here in Piedmont, but would you dare to place your bottom on that frozen chair and keep it there for hours, just to grab some old tyre?

:wavey:

P.S.: thanks to the editor for picking up this, I'm honoured.

Congratulations on the EP. I don't know how I missed seeing this one earlier, very lovely. I am really enjoying your Po River series.
