Am I first for this WC? Cool!

Here's one of my hiking partners, Dave enjoying a pleasant afternoon relaxing by a little waterfall in the Adirondacks. In this case, no water has really been "falling" for weeks!

Love the red jacket against all that snow. You fellows do this for fun???? I will be most content to just admire your photographs this week.

Barbara, We find this weather invigorating. But I know it's not for everyone. I have cousin in Daytona Beach who complains that he can't even enjoy a walk on the beach when the temperature gets down in the 60s. I wonder if he would enjoy it more if the scenery changed as much as it does in the north, with a beautiful white blanket of snow.

One beautiful scene, Wayne. I like the bold horizontal trunk leaning over what looks like a stream. Beautiful whites. I'm so glad you broke the ice (so to speak). I don't have one single image with snow and a person, only fox tracks and I dont think they count.

Start drumming up business, Wayne :jump:

Mom asks the same question. She likes the warm southern air and I don't think she even knows that there are actually 4 distinct seasons. (In the Adirondacks, that would be Summer, Autumn, Winter and Black Fly).
I really like the shot here and again would ask, where is this one?

Really cool shot (pardon the pun)! I like this weather but only for a few hours at a time. Lived in the mid-west too long.

Steve, this is a spot that you have probably been close to, or maybe even have seen it. It's a little waterfall that often has minimal flow in the summer. It's not that far off one of the Tongue Mt. trails. (As I recall, I started out from the trailhead near Northwest Bay Brook.) I'll have to see if it's on the trail guide. If not, I'd be happy to show you where it is.

What a beautiful scene, Wayne! Your hiking partner must have been pretty cold sitting on the ice, but he sure makes a nice addition to the image!

Wow, what a beautiful shot! This ought to be on the cover of something! Congrats on the EP, too.
