This is a closeup of a plant from the Canary Islands. I've posted an image below so you can see what it looks like. Sorry I haven't been able to comment on all the fine shots here lately. Been having computer problems.

This shot has a dizzy feel to it hehe... Seems sharp and well exposed to my eye. Maybe a little crowded?
I like the second picture much better.

Michael great shot. The detail on the pistils really works well here. I lover the pattern of dark, pinks and greens and then the little white spots. A beautiful and interesting image.

Great eye to spot this, Mike. I bet the detail in a large print would be fantastic.

A dazling shot, Michael! Very nicely composed. When I visited the Canary islands last winter these flowers weren't blooming yet. I have to go and see them in the wild sometime!

Wow, what an interesting flower Michael and a fine capture. When I clicked on the thumbnail, I got much more than I expected. The detail, color and repeating pattern are great.

I think I've seen this species here in California used as an ornamental.
I always prefer sharply focused images like this. Exceptional subject with strong color to isolated against the darker plant interior. I nontice darker purples in the shadows that may be sepals? Did you use flash?

Thanks David. No flash used. My eyes are so bad I didn't notice the blue and purple sections til I opened the image in PS.

Wow Michael...missed this one. This is really great. I have to admit, the thumbnail does NOT do this shot justice. What a cool shot! Congrats on the EP.
