'Tis said that if you are lucky enough to spot a Flower Fairy, be sure to keep it a secret! But I figured the Flora gallery was the perfect spot in which to post a Flower Fairie.

Shooting details:
D200, f/2.8 70-200 mm lens, f/8 1/250s, 200mm, Spot Metering, Canon 500D CU lens, tripod, cable.

Minor Camera RAW adjustments and cropping for composition.

I like the different shades of white here a lot as well as the pov. It's a neat image. I have no idea what a flower fairy is however. I'll look it up. (smile)

It's most likely a "girl" thing, but the original books were beautiful.

Carol, I like how you showed the stamens at an angle here. A vertical also might have been nice here.

Carol, I really like the way the stamens seem to peering around the edge of the petal -- as one might expect a wee fairie to do.
