Invading Drops

Olympus C-750

During a local hike a bunch of years ago I came across this fallen leaf loaded with water drops that made me drop down to the ground to get a closer look. I made the background less distracting using a photoshop filter. I wish I had gotten even closer.:frown:

Thoughts are welcome :toast:

Martin, Your water drops are magnificent, and I think you did a beautiful job with the background. I wound not have guessed that you did anything out of the normal to process this into a great image. Nice job.

Yes, I like the low perspective on this. Not sure what you did to the background, but its a good shot :toast: :toast:

Martin,

I like the intimate and fresh feeling it has.
I think that the lower part of the image deserves a bit more of details ; the darkening seems a tad overdone.

Good shot anyway.

Giovanni.

Martin, congratulations on the EP! I love the way you can see the leaf veins through some of the water droplets.

Hey guys. I love the fact that many of you are liking this. It motivates me to keep looking at the smaller world around us. Often I ignore it, this one was hard not to notice though! I tried to bring back that dark area to light but too much of the info is gone because of the filter. I can't find the original/non-edited one. :frown:

Cheers to the invading drops :toast:

Super. Even down to the tinitst droplet hanging on to the tip of the leaf. Love it.
