I’m a nature photographer living in North Carolina. A full time physical therapist, I enjoy spending my free time photographing the patterns, lines, and abstract images that can be found in nature. My favorite areas include the Blue Ridge Parkway and the mountains of Western North Carolina/Southwest Virginia, as well as Cape Cod and the Southwest. I am fortunate to live in a state and region that is rich in wilderness areas. Being able to spend time in these places contributes a large part to my spiritual beliefs. I think photography is an attempt to bring those experiences back home with me. I have had my photographs featured in several solo and group shows as well as juried exhibitions. I was also a finalist in the 2009 Appalachian Mountain Photography Contest. I hope you enjoy my images.
