"In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks" - John Muir
As a retired California State Park Ranger and part time semi-professional photographer, Bob has spent most of his adult life living in some of the most stunning landscapes in California. Ten years of his 24+ years as a park ranger he shared with his k9 partner doing wilderness search and rescue. Bob has a degree in Biological Conservation and is a self taught photographer. His first camera was an old 35mm range finder that his dad bought from Sears and carried during multiple tours of military service in S/E Asia and Vietnam. Bob still has that camera which is displayed proudly on a shelf in Bob's office. Today Bob takes the field with Nikon digital equipment although he prefers the solid feel and weight of his old Nikon F4.
When not working on his ranch in S/E Idaho, you can find Bob somewhere in "God's country" with either a fly rod or a camera in hand.
