Based in Kent, England I can easily access a diverse range of landscapes and wildlife within the UK and internationally. While all areas of nature interest me this year I have particularly been concentrating on the elusive red squirrel and the majestic Scottish red deer. A recent trip to Scotland has enabled both of these subjects to be caught in unusually snowy conditions, giving some great shots. A further trip in the Christmas period to New Zealand resulted in some successful landscape shots and some spectacular action photographs of the playful dusky dolphin and the elegant sperm whale. While I am concentrating on British wildlife, further trips abroad are planned.
My aim is to create photographs which are unusual and show the subject in its natural setting. By combining action and portrait shots of wildlife I hope that I can show others that split second of natural beauty.
