My name is Bill Langton. I am based in Truckee, California, USA. Truckee is located in the Sierra Nevada Mountain range of Northern California, just north of beautiful Lake Tahoe.
As an avid photographer for almost 30 years, I am blessed with some of the most beautiful scenery in the world in my backyard. The mountains and plateaus of Western United States offer splendid vistas with every turn. In the traditionally short spring, the land comes to life with beautiful wildflowers and renewed growth. Summer provides an ever changing pallet of subjects. The colors of fall are quickly replaced by the winter snows.
Each year, I try to find the right combination of light, location and timing to create images that capture the beauty of the season, the subject and the moment.
