Photography initially was a tool in my filmmaking education, a way to document my set, and later to revisit the successes or failures of the endeavor. It was invalueable in studying everything from basic technique, framing, and creative follow-through of a vision. Over time photography allowed me to maintain an outlook for the unique, and often, delicate nuances in everyday life. It is mediation at it's finest.
