I am a recently retired IT professional who has "toyed" with 35mm photography in a previous life, primarily action photos (motocross) and some underwater photos.
I am by all definitions an "enthusiastic novice".
I was initially a bit reluctant to register and post photos on this site because of the quality of the current postings and the expertise that the individual photos reflected. But, this is intended to be a learning experience for me so here I go.
I currently have a Nikon d300s and a SONY H5 12x Ultra-Zoom compact digital camera.
I use (read am constantly learning) Photoshop CS3.
My interests currently lie in the Avian and Fauna galleries although I have found that lately I have captured quite a few landscape/cityscape images.
Cheers,
dsc
