From the earliest days of my youth, I've enjoyed being outdoors and taking pictures. My high school in Sierra Vista, Arizona, had a great VoTech program and we were able to repeat Advanced Photo so I had 4 semesters of learning from a talented teacher. I was then able to fit in one semester of photo at Northern Arizona University as I completed a minor in Journalism.
I majored in Forestry, and have had various positions with every level of government that gave me time and excuse to be outdoors. To be in the woods.
In my work as a forester and on vacations, I've been blessed to see many beautiful places in our nation, and some of Canada. Painting with God's everlasting light brings me peace, and is very likely the only time I show real patience, waiting for the right second to trigger the shutter.
I shoot with Nikon D2X and D100, Tamron AF zooms and a Nikon ED Fieldscope. Some gotta have it small digital images are captured with point and shoot Nikon 5400 or Coolpix S50.
Please let me know if you have a specific tree or technical forestry image you need, I may have it.
