My name is Federico Veronesi, I am 32 years old, born in Italy but living in Kenya since 2002.
My passion for nature and african wildlife in particular struck me when I was about three-years old and stayed with me throughout. Later, at about sixteen, I became very interested in photography, partly due to the fact that mine is a family of keen amateur photographers. So it was quite natural that the these two interests of mine would soon complement each other.
Currently I am a wildlife photographer full time, living for about 70% of my time in the Masai Mara National Reserve, in a tent pitched on the banks of the Talek River, from where I get up every day to follow the cheetahs, lions and leopards and the other animals through their daily struggles for survival.
In addition, I am also a professional safari guide certified by the Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association (KPSGA), at Bronze level, and I lead photographic safaris in Kenya and Tanzania.
I held photographic exhibitions and slide shows in Kenya and Italy and some of my images have been published in magazines, calendars, postcards and photolibraries.
