Filip Tkaczyk is as amateur nature and wildlife photographer currently living in Seattle, Washington.
Filip graduated with a B.S. at the University of Washington, Seattle. He is now continuing his nature education at the Wilderness Awareness School's year long residential program. This program teaches outdoors skills such as tracking animals, survival skills, friction-fire making, nature mentoring, naturalist training and much more.
He combines his strong scientific background in wildlife behavior, biology and ecology with the skills he continues to sharpen in the residential program in order to create quality wildlife photos.
Though he has photographed wildlife in many places - including the Peruvian Amazon - his passion is focusing on the natural beauty and amazing wildlife closer to home, especially in the Pacific Northwest. His intention is to educate and create passion for the wildlife and its conservation through photography.
All photos in his portfolio are for sale. For further information or just to contact him, please send him an email.
