I grew up making photos here in Southwest Wisconsin and have always had an appreciation for my surroundings and tried to capture it in my nature and landscape photos. I enjoy shooting birds, butterflies and insects and the plant world. I sell photos nationally and shoot strictly digitally. My photos also sell locally as matted prints and notecards
My background is in graphic design. I have an agriculture degree, with a minor in graphics, but have worked mainly as a graphic designer. Photography has always been a part of my life, since spending my graduation money on my first SLR camera, a Ricoh A100.
I've taken courses through betterphoto.com and am always looking to improve my photography.
