I have been a serious amateur photographer for over 20 years. I grew up in Syracuse, New York where I was a member of a local nature photography club. Because of it's proximity to central New York, my favorite hiking and photography destination became the Adirondack Mountains. I eventually moved to Columbus, Ohio which put me within driving distance of Great Smoky Mountain National Park. I now live in southeastern Pennsylvania and enjoy shooting in Shenandoah National Park whenever possible. I also enjoy exploring the gulf coast of Florida but don't get down there as much as I'd like to. I use Nikon equipment, and have recently purchased a Nikon D70, which I used extensively on a recent trip to Algonquin Park in Ontario, Canada.
