I've had a camera in my hands since I was 8 years old. I spent six years as a USNavy photographer after going thru the USN Photo school in Pensacola. Shooting wildflowers was not my first choice; it was a gradual change from other subjects. I've done this since my parents put local wildflowers in their garden in 1980. It's a difficult subject, but all of nature photography is like that. It offers no quarter.
