Every animal I have photographed is a special spirit with its own personality, intelligence, and place in the fabric of life. From the smallest songbird to the largest predator they are fellow travelers upon the earth and each is equally deserving of our respect and care.
Spending time with wild animals has taught me in a very personal way just how fragile their world has become. Future generations will surely judge us by the quality of our stewardship. An old proverb puts it eloquently and simply - 'A society grows great when old men plant trees in whose shade they know they will never sit'.
I am pleased and genuinely privileged to have the opportunity to share with you my images of wild and beautiful creatures and places. As we become more and more urbanized as a society, we are increasingly in danger of losing our connection with the natural world. I hope my images will bring that world a little closer to everyone that views them. Thank you for visiting.
