I've been a photographer for over forty years and enjoy both Landscape and Nautical photography. While photography was not my profession, it was my passion along with sailing. My wife and I sailed primarily on Barnegat Bay and took sailing vacation each summer to ports along the New England coast. I always sailed with my camera and photographed the picturesque harbors and towns we visited.
After we retired we moved to South Carolina to be near our daughter and grand children. We no longer live near the ocean so my photographic interest has shifted primarily to landscapes. The Blue Ridge Parkway is now one of my favorite places to photograph with its secluded valleys and high mountain meadows with broad vistas of the Appalachian Mountain chain. Our vacations destinations now include the U.S. West, Canada and Europe.
