Photography specializing in conveying a sense of place and fostering nature literacy. Images redefining community as an interwoven web of nature and culture.
MISSION:
To document through photography the beauty that is present in "ordinary" locations near my home in the Midwest.
I want to be a witness to the beauty of nature in the small oases that exist in this highly populated area. Through photography I hope to increase the awareness of others to their local natural history. Wilderness in the Midwest is nearly nonexistent but wildness abounds-- however ephemeral it may be.
*Photographing for 25 years.
