I have been a whitewater rafting guide for the past 14 years. This has given me a excellent opportunity to take action photos of rafts and jet boats along with great scenery shots. I worked in a custom photo lab for 10 years. This allowed me to see what other great photographers were producing and helped me form my own opinions on what I liked and disliked about a photo image. I do take protraits, but prefer taking candid pictures of people in a memorable moment in their life. Many of my photos have been featured by local travel associations and used by area outfitters. My two passions in photography are whitewater action shots, and capturing the beautiful scenery that is all around us but taken for granted. I think that one of my strongest points is not just being at the right place at the right time, but knowing it and utilizing it.
