Hi from Greymouth on the West Coast of the South Island, New Zealand.
Photography became a serious hobby for me after moving here to the West Coast from the North Island. With the unique natural environment, landscapes, the backdrop of the Southern Alps, history, people, places, geology, flora and fauna it is a photographers outdoor studio every where you go.
I enjoy most areas of photography but my favorite is the natural landscape, flora and fauna.
Moving to digital from my Canon EOS-1n in 2005, then using mostly slide film, I now have a Canon EOS350D,Canon lenses 20-35mm, Macro EF100mm, 70-200mm and Canon extender 1.4x.
