My geographical area of interest is northern Minnesota. I have done my share of hiking and paddling through out this grand area. However, now when I am out and about, I attempt to capture that which I have always enjoyed. While I tend to concentrate mostly on Loons, Herons and Cranes I also follow the Sled Dog races during the winter season. Though I like to kayak in my quest for the "great shot", I have not yet gotten into snow paddling! I stick with skis and snowshoes when the lakes freeze over.
