Photography for me began in 1970 with the purchase of a new Nikon FTN fresh out of the box with a price tag in Okinawa of $213. I shot mostly black and white which was free to me and did the lab work in a hobby shop on the base. Many years and two sons later getting parts for the Nikon was difficult. Most of my prints came from the discount stores with the quality of processing that matched the price of the prints and photography was on the way out for me. Thirty-five years later I was introduced to digital and the excitement was back. Now this was fun and you could shoot all you wanted for free. How much better can it get!! Nature and wildlife is where my interest lies but I'll shoot anything giving the chance. As a professional pilot I get to travel to some interesting places and many of my photos were taken while on the road. I read all I can about photography and attend as many classes as possible. Hopefully some of that knowledge has helped me become a better photographer. All my photos are for sell so if you see something you like email me with a request. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have in making them.
