A Connecticut resident, much of Larry's work reflects the inherent beauty of the New England landscape. Although not yet a full time professional photographer Larry has exhibited and sold at a number of major outdoor art shows in the North East. He tries to concentrate on what is pleasant, good and beautiful in our world and from that create a photograph that people will not tire of viewing.
For his work, Larry feels it is essential for him to be in complete control over the image, from pressing the shutter button through matting and framing of a fine art print. This process started in the traditional darkroom making Cibachrome enlargements from slide transparencies and progressed to scanning slides which were then printed with Epson inkjet printers. Now, digital capture is used almost exclusively. After optimizing the image in Photoshop, prints are made using a large format Epson printer with pigmented archival inks.
