Lon Overacker is a nature and outdoor photographer residing in Livermore California. His primary format is 4x5 large format, but also has an extensive stock of 35mm images. His passion for "capturing moments in time" can be traced back to his first family vaction to Glacier National Park when he was twelve and carried a Kodak Instamatic camera.
Since that time, Lon's underlying philosophy on photography as an art form is that every time that shutter release is triggered, he has captured a "moment in time" that can never again be duplicated.
Many of Lon's images are currently represented by a stock agency in Japan, PhotoTheque MonTresor, online at Myloupe.com, and of course right here on the Nature Photographer's Network.
