My photography is from the heart and it allows me to express my creativity and what I see with my family, friends and anyone else who visits my website.
The idea of a perfect image is where I have been able to capture the color, spirit and the beauty I see and experience in my mind. There is hardly a day that goes by without me framing a picture with my hands and saying to myself or anyone who is within ear shot, "Now, there is a picture!"
I like the challenge of capturing something or someone that is different and interesting as well as the beauty that this world offers us. I strive to see scenes that are unique and capture my subject the way my eye sees it; to photograph the unexpected is a constant goal of mine.
I would have to say the awesome work of Ansel Adams and Thomas D. Mangelsen inspires me to go beyond what I think I can accomplish and keep trying.
I am so thankful for those who believe in me and continue to encourage me to pursue my love of photography.
