I am 45 years old and Live in Manchester in the UK. I have had a lifelong passion for wildlife, especially birds and have progressed through various stages of exploring this fascination from simple local patch watching to serious twitching. I am now an enthusiastic amateur photographer and get particular satisfaction out of getting close to birds and trying to share their space and trying to record this experience with a camera. I was interested in Photography as a teenager but had a gap of many years although my passion for birds never left me. My fascination lured me back into photography about 6 years ago. Since then I have been fortunate to be able to travel with my camera, and have many shots from Greece, Gambia, Florida, India and Kenya and hope to take my passion for bird and wildlife photography to other destinations.
