I have a passion for wilderness places. Some remote, and others not so. As a teenager I began hiking and climbing in Yosemite, taking my camera along as a way to capture my adventures. In doing so I developed a strong interest in natural history and a commitment to respect and help preserve our environment. It is the challenge of capturing the essence and true beauty of nature's design that I find so intriguing and some times elusive. All of my images are faithful to the subject matter they depict.
I am currently using a Nikon D2Xs, with a variety of Nikkor lens. I shoot in raw digital formate and develope my images in much the same way a traditional film phootographer would in the darkroom. I use both Adobe "Lightroom" and "Photoshop."
