Since a visit to Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming in September, 2005, I was hooked on nature photography. While vacationing, I met a nature photographer who told me I really need to learn my camera because I am not getting the full benefit of what it has to offer. With a lot of help from my boyfriend and a lot of experiementing, I started learning more and more which truly improved the quality of my images. Hundreds of images later, I am still just as passionate about wildlife/bird photography as I was after that trip. I have been birdwatching for years and have a quite extensive life list which I now wish I had photographs of each and every one. I live in Burlington County, NJ and have been a resident of NJ all my life. NJ has great areas for bird watching but much less wildlife opportunities, so I plan my vacations to national parks and wild areas seeking the wildlife NJ lacks. I sell homes and manage rental properties for a living so the peace of the woods is a welcome addition to my otherwise hectic world.
