I became interested in photography during high school. During my immersion in the hobby, I built a small black and white dark room in my bedroom closet and became the photographer for my high school newspaper. After high school I chose a career in information technology and my interest in photography lapsed for a few years. My information technology career included stints as a programmer, IT manager and founder and President of an internet service provider.
When digital cameras started becoming affordable, I jumped back into the hobby with both feet. Later, when an opportunity presented itself to move my career towards photography again I jumped at the opportunity.
At present I work as a full-time freelance photographer. I have a passion for the nature and wildlife photography of Alberta, Canada while enjoying working with clients on their specific requirements.
I currently shoot exclusively with Canon cameras and lenses.
