Robert worked for 20 years in the natural healing arts in his home state of Michigan until semi-retiring to the Big Island of Hawaii. There he continued to pursue his photographic interests in nature on land, and began to venture into the realm of underwater images of the dolphins, sea turtles, and other marine life that make the local bays and ocean their home. Longing for the woods and nature of his home state, Robert moved back to Michigan in the fall of 2004. After a 3 year mainland hiatus, he then moved back to the Big Island, back to the ocean. The interconnectedness of all life is what leads Robert into nature for both the experience and the images he makes. His Hawaiian images are placed with Photo Resource Hawaii stock agency. And after 6 1/2 years in Hawaii, Robert once again moved back to the woods and lakes of his home state of Michigan.
