I am a part-time nature and wildlife photographer who lives and works near the small town of Cherokee Texas. Cherokee is located in the northern part of what is referred to as the "Texas Hill Country" and is still a very rural area. I travel very little so all of these images are taken around this area.
I have been very fortunate throughout my life to be able to spend as much time as I do outdoors and to have acquired such an appreciation for what mother nature has to offer. With our very busy lifestyle it seems that very few people slow down enough to notice the little things in nature. We have all been told to "look at the big picture" or "don't sweat the small stuff". I do not see my photographs as anything other than slowing down and pointing some of the "small stuff" that mother nature is offering
