Hello, I was born October 3, 1951 in South Louisiana. I am a Prairieville, Louisiana based amatuer photographer specializing in the flora, fauna and scenery of South Louisiana. Originally from Destrehan La. having moved to Prairieville, La. in 1998. I have been imaging for over 30 years. Presently I'm using a Nikon D200, but the majority of these images were taken with a Nikon D100 DSLR. I specialize in closeup photograph with the Nikon 300mm f/4d lens as my favorite for this type of work. I use a set of Nikon extension tubes with that lens for the vast majority of my closeup work. I also enjoy avian and landscape photography. I hope you enjoy these images from this beautiful and magical part of our state.
